Messi scored in the 51st minute to bring Inter Miami back into the match against Nashville SC in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 matchup on Thursday night.
Messi’s shot snuck into the left side of the net, after an assist by Luis Suárez to cut Nashville’s deficit to 2-1. Suárez scored a stoppage time goal as Miami escaped Nashville with a 2-2 first-leg draw.
Here's the highlight of Messi's goal against Nashville:
It’s Messi’s fourth goal of the season, and his third in two consecutive matches.
Messi stretched his hands out wide to celebrate, before hugging midfielders Sergio Busquets and Federico Redondo, and high-fiving Julian Gressel.
