NFL fans everywhere have taken to social media over the course of this season to lament about how tired they are of seeing Taylor Swift while watching football. But she actually may be helping grow the game.
When Swift started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, there were plenty of takes and debates on whether her presence and connection to the team would be a distraction. On the surface, the conversation around the singer/songwriter and her NFL connection seems to have largely painted her in a negative light.
