Just ahead of the kickoff of the 2024 NFL season, Funko has a new option in its personalized toy playbook: You can now outfit your doppelgänger figurine in your favorite team's merch.
The pop culture collectible company famous for its Funko Pop! figurines of celebrities such as Dolly Parton and athletes such as LeBron James began letting customers design Funko figures of themselves last year.
Since then, Funko has issued limited-time football-related promotions, including a figure of shirtless Jason Kelce at the Kansas City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills playoff game on Jan. 21 and an option to create figurines donning the DunKings tracksuits worn by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Tom Brady in the popular Super Bowl commercial.
Thanks to a beefed-up partnership with the National Football League, football fans can create personalized Funko Pop figures of themselves decked out in T-shirts, hoodies supporting their favorite of the 32 NFL teams, starting on Sept. 5. That's also the date the NFL season starts with the Kansas City Chiefs facing the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of last season's AFC Championship game on NBC's Thursday Night Football.
"This first-of-its-kind collaboration empowers fans to celebrate the people they love and the moments they cherish with a personalized touch, while also proudly displaying their loyalty to their favorite NFL teams," said Funko's CEO Cynthia Williams in a statement. "We’re thrilled to bring this unique experience to the NFL's fanbase of over 200 million fans.”
Funko will also have a pop-up Home Opener Block Party and Watch Party in Kansas City's Power & Light District on Sept. 5 to coincide with the first game of the season.

How to make your own Funko Pop figurine with NFL gear
To get your own NFL fan Funko Pop figurine ($35), go to the Funko Pop! Yourself site.
There you can create your Funko Pop persona and choose from a selection of gray and white V-neck T-shirts and hoodies with your favorite team's logo. You can also choose an accessory such as a football or foam finger. With your order, you also get a digital version of your avatar to use on social media.
Not a football fan? You can create a figurine with your favorite sports gear, such as a softball, volleyball, soccer ball, or lacrosse stick. And for a limited time, you can create cosplay figurines of yourself in Deadpool and Wolverine outfits.
More new NFL Funko Pop figurines including Jerry Rice, Terry Bradshaw
Also timed to the beginning of the NFL season, Funko has new Legends Pops! of NFL Hall of Famers including 10-inch figures of Jerry Rice and Troy Aikman ($40 each) and 4-inch figures of Joe Namath, Terry Bradshaw and Ray Lewis ($12 each).
And its new NFL Series 12 Pops! figures, out now, include CeeDee Lamb, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Amon-Ra St. Brown ($12-$15 each, available at Funko.com and at major retailers.
